Overview
Introduction
Understand the main parts of Domain Manager and how they work together.
Manage domains in one place
Domain Manager helps you keep track of domain registrations, renewal dates, registrar costs, and potential savings. Your data is scoped to the currently selected team.
Main areas
- Dashboard — a summary of your domains, annual spend, upcoming expirations, and possible savings.
- Domains — add domains, review registration and expiry details, update records, and configure scheduled checks.
- Registrars — manage your own registrar records, review built-in registrar information, maintain annual prices by top-level domain (TLD), and choose which registrars participate in price comparisons.
- Savings — compare recorded domain costs with known registrar prices. This is an estimate to help you decide whether to transfer; Domain Manager does not transfer a domain for you.
- Notification Channels — configure email destinations for alerts generated by domain checks.
- Teams — switch between teams and manage team membership and invitations.
A useful order to get started
- Select the team where you want to keep your data.
- Add the registrars you use and enter their yearly prices for each TLD.
- Add your domains. The domain lookup may prefill registration and registrar details; review the result before saving.
- Check each domain's registrar, annual price, renewal dates, and ownership information.
- Add domain checks and an email notification channel if you want scheduled checks and alerts.
- Review the dashboard and Savings page as you add more price information.
The app does not currently provide an in-app registrar integration setup screen. Registrar integrations are managed through the authenticated API; see Registrar integrations.
